1. Introduction

This wiki-based knowledge portal contains information on and links to programmatic policies and standards, RMA planning, methods application guidance (including our Physics of Failure (PoF) application guide, Model-Based Mission Assurance lessons learned), and insight into other important initiatives and resources supporting the R&M discipline as part of NASA Integrated R&M Web presence. 

This portal's information is organized in the following sections and each can be accessed below or in the menu buttons at the top of each page:

• RMA Policies, Standards, and Requirements Guidance - an amalgamation of applicable R&M requirements, objectives, and standards.
• RMA Application Rationale - an overview of the value of applying RMA engineering methods to mission activities and RMA planning assistance (including Planning and Assurance Case development tool(s)).
  
• RMA Performance Guidance and Reference Data - an overview of OSMA R&M Guidance on RMA Methodologies to RMA practitioners.
  
• RMA Specialty Topics - an information resource on OSMA R&M on going Reliability Engineering and NASA mission sustainment initiatives.

The Technical Discipline Team (TDT) is a technical resource that supports the OSMA, the NASA Safety Center (NSC), and the NASA Centers in matters pertaining to R&M engineering and related activities.
